Trusting God Through Every Season: A Miktam Sabbath

Welcome & Fellowship

Today was a wonderful Sabbath as members and friends gathered for worship, Bible study, prayer, and encouragement. We are thankful for the opportunity to grow together in faith and to support one another through prayer and fellowship.

“Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.” — Psalm 16:1

📖 Bible Study

Online Bible Group – 10:30 AM

This morning’s online Bible study focused on Christian ministries in India, highlighting the work being done to share the Gospel, serve communities, and support believers throughout the region. Participants discussed the challenges and opportunities facing ministry leaders and the importance of praying for those serving around the world.

🎵 Worship Through Song

The congregation joined together in worship through several beloved hymns:

  • I’m So Glad I’m a Part of the Family of God
  • Jesus paid it all ( Forrest Frank)
  • Nobody
  • Just a Closer Walk With Thee

🎙️ Sabbath Message

“Have You Ever Prayed a Miktam?”

Speaker: Gary Hall

Gary Hall’s message explored the meaning of a Miktam, a unique Hebrew term found in several Psalms, including Psalms 16, 56, 57, 58, 59, and 60. The discussion centered on how these prayers were often written during difficult circumstances, expressing trust in God even in times of fear, uncertainty, and adversity.

The message encouraged us to consider:

🌿 How we pray during life’s trials.

🌿 The importance of placing our confidence in God’s protection.

🌿 The enduring hope found in faithful prayer.

🌿 How the Psalms teach us to trust God through every season of life.
