Our Mutual Faith

The larger Biblically-adherent Body of Christ in this nation of late has been plagued with animosities, divisions, separations and barriers. We are learning that this does not have to be so, provided we esteem others better than ourselves and maintain a footwashing attitude in service to the Saints. As we are admonished:

“Therefore if you have any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being united in spirit and purpose.” – Philippians 2:1-2

Therefore we work towards being united in spirit and purpose and desire to be in fellowship together with the Holy Spirit, recognizing that we are in a process of growing together in the knowledge of Our Savior as He reveals Himself and His Plans to us as this age progresses towards its end.

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.” – 2 Peter 3:18

The Body of Christ Fellowship at Vaughn’s Chapel is a congregation of Believers in Yeshua/Jesus the Christ as the only begotten Son of Creator God/YAHWEH ELOHIM.

It is through Yeshua/Jesus’ blood and sacrifice as the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world we believe, that covers our sins and iniquities that has earned us the penalty of death. Confessing that faith enables us to repent and be covered in that Blood – and then come into His Holy Presence after baptism and the Laying on of Hands by the brethren for the Holy Spirit to dwell inside the Believer.

We desire and welcome in fellowship, anyone who subscribes to this understanding. We look at this as our one and only Salvational issue in concert with our command to forgive as we have been Forgiven.

We are a Torah-Observant congregation that reveres the Law of God and observes the Commandments, the Sabbath and the Feasts of YAHWEH because they help us to better understand God’s Plan of Salvation for all mankind. They all point to Christ our Savior and His Work as our High Priest to make us Holy in Him, so that we can be presented to The Father, holy and blameless and come into His Presence where they will make their Home in us as His temple, writing His Laws upon our hearts and changing our hearts of stone into His heart of flesh.

Whether you have observed different days, calendars, or practiced different traditions, we welcome you to fellowship and learn with us. We study and revere God’s Word and hear how the Spirit of God is motivating and working in our lives to overcome trials, obstacles and how the Word of God is a Living Word that applies to our lives each and every day we are on this Walk with our Savior.
