Sabbath Report – Walking in Obedience and Rest

This Sabbath was a beautiful reminder that Yahweh’s ways are not just something we learn — they are something we live.

We gathered together with hearts set on honoring His appointed time, setting aside the distractions of the week to focus on what truly matters. There was a strong sense of peace as we stepped into rest, not just physically, but spiritually — choosing to trust Yahweh rather than strive in our own strength.

Discussion & Study

We also spent time in a thoughtful and engaging discussion led by Rienne, centered on the events of the Last Supper and the betrayal of Jesus.

The conversation explored the question of whether Judas committed the unpardonable sin through his betrayal, especially considering that Scripture foretold this event would take place. Rienne highlighted the deeper tension between human action and divine prophecy — what it means for something to be both foretold and carried out.

There was also reflection on the parallel between Judas’s betrayal and Lucifer’s rebellion, bringing attention to the spiritual dimension behind these events. In particular, the discussion considered the moment when Jesus said, “What you are going to do, do it quickly,” and whether this statement was directed not only at Judas, but also toward Satan, whom the Gospel accounts describe as having entered into him.

The conversation ultimately pointed back to the sovereignty of Yahweh — that nothing occurs outside of His authority, and that even spiritual beings operate within His permission and purpose.

It was a meaningful time of digging deeper into Scripture, asking honest questions, and growing together in understanding.

Reflection from the Day

Yesterday centered around a simple but powerful truth:

Obedience is not just belief — it is action.

Just as we’ve been walking through the appointed times and understanding their meaning, the Sabbath continues to teach us consistency. It calls us to pause, to realign, and to remember that our lives are meant to reflect Yahweh daily — not just occasionally.

Fellowship & Growth

We spent time in fellowship, encouraging one another and building each other up. These moments continue to show how important community is — not just gathering but growing together.

We were especially encouraged to welcome a new family and another individual into fellowship — we pray they felt the love and peace of Yahweh among us.

There is something special about coming together with like-minded believers who are also choosing obedience. It strengthens faith, brings clarity, and reminds us we are not walking this path alone.
