Breaking Bread, Breaking Habits.

The Days of Unleavened Bread is more than a historical observance—it is a powerful reminder of transformation. For seven days, we remove leaven from our homes, symbolizing the removal of sin, pride, and corruption from our lives. It is a time to pause, reflect, and realign ourselves with Yahweh’s ways.

Unleavened bread itself is simple—made without yeast, without puffing up. In the same way, we are called to walk in humility and sincerity. This season invites us to examine our hearts, to identify what has “crept in,” and to consciously choose righteousness instead.

Just as Israel was delivered in haste from Egypt, we are reminded that obedience often requires urgency. There is no room to linger in old habits. The call is clear: come out, be set apart, and walk in truth. These days are not meant to feel restrictive—they are meant to feel freeing. In removing leaven, we create space for something better: clarity, discipline, and a renewed commitment to live faithfully.

As you observe the Days of Unleavened Bread, let it be more than a ritual. Let it be a reset—a chance to cleanse, refocus, and draw closer to the purpose set before you.
